Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental and community health services to a population of around 900,000 across the county of Berkshire through five community hospitals.
The London Procurement Partnership Framework is helping NHS Trusts to deliver the highest quality services while at the same time ensuring value for money on NHS projects. Through this framework Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation were able to access the solution required to meet their energy objectives on two of their community hospital sites.
powerPerfector plus units were installed at two of the five community hospitals; St. Mark’s Hospital and Wokingham Community Hospital. These hospitals now have the capacity to check and change voltage from anywhere in the world, their output voltage can now be adjusted online, on an iPad or through the unit’s user interface, providing a user friendly reporting functionality.

The functionality of the powerPerfector Plus Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO) unit delivers dynamic voltage optimisation in addition to the power conditioning you would expect from the standard powerPerfector.
It also delivers a ‘Buck and Boost’ capability, something no other Voltage Optimisation (VO) technology can provide.
